RE: 20150420 (1.0.24) - Open Hour Chameleon Android Firmware
Hello,

Same thing here. I have no sound using the native player when i play an HD audio file m2ts (TrueHD or DTS HD Master). I have no problem with the firmware version 13 but of course these files are played like a simple DTS or Dolby Digital sound. My receiver is a yamaha RX-V677.
It seems that this firmware works only with few receiver.

? The receiver tells me DTS-HD on playing a DTS-HD ISO-BD, shouldn't it?

No that's correct as you say. My point was not in response to anything you posted.

What some are doing is not realising that SPMC is software and the results of playback using the native player are what firmwares address.

Then those improvements are brought into SPMC. Any issues with SPMC needs to be in XBMC (that really should be changed) section. Many just try each firmware only with SPMC not realising that there is an inbuilt player and that it is in that player that you will first see fixes etc. usually. So they see a fix in the release notes, try playback using SPMC, and report that the fix does not work when they should be testing with the inbuilt player unless otherwise instructed in the notes.

It does seem that some report HD audio as working in the inbuilt player and some not.

- SPMC HD Audio support require Koying to enable that in SPMC.
- We are trying to get relevant code and instructions from RockChip to Koying.

if you are indeed doing that.

Yes. We have sent the request to Rockchip last week and pending on their advise at this moment.

This is what I'm getting. TrueHD is working but, it comes at the cost of not so smooth video with it set to either Auto or 1080p60. Also, like another poster mentioned, the audio/video gets out of sync very easily.

No more fun ... while 23 has returned audio, 24 does create perfect silence again. Sony STR-DN1020.

Blame me for not taking an image snapshot of 23 Angel

I from 1024 I have a big problem, the projector does not recognize me more OHC or viceversa.
If I connect it to the tv all ok, but nothing to VPR even the slightest sign of presence.
Until 1023 everything ok, apart from the occasional disconnection problems audio.
I do not know if the problem is due to the VPR or to Crystallio that acts as a filter

Looks like a good idea for those using passthrough to a receiver.Idea

To clarify please add your AVR details and test using the settings and players as per the document.

RE: 20150420 (1.0.24) - Open Hour Chameleon Android Firmware
I confirm the green screen problem has resolved wIth mode 1 and 2. (Rgb).
With mode 3,4,5 i have the issue.

So if its possible to have an option to swith the video mode in the user interface, it will be great.

Thanks guy

Please try the http://forum.openhourlab.com/showthread.php?tid=829 beta firmware with the Color Space settings for green/purple-ish display problem. Thanks.
