.Ts file HEVC 10Bit black screen with SPMC

Not sure about this one. Looks like more a structure issue than a codec one.
It plays neither in ffmpeg s/w on SPMC nor even in VLC on Windows.

This one works fine. Are you sure it's the one you had issue with?

http://download.blender.org/durian/movie...010.4k.mkv - This one starts play fine in native, but after 1:20 the stuttering begins, in SPMC its only green lines.

Edit. Codec : AVC http://demo-uhd3d.com/fiche.php?cat=uhd&id=52 - Have Picture but very stuttering playback both native and SPMC
Edit 2. HEVC TS files as mention above, have same as them, plays in Native but only black in SPMC.
Thanks

The stutters seems to be due to high fps on those files (50/60).
Looks like the codec cannot go above 35fps...

I didn't download the 4Gb Sintel. If you can extract a sample, I'll have a look.

this palys also fine with internal player or the player in the TV, but not SPMC. Is this also a structure issue?

HEVC play nicely on SPMC, just the 10bit is more problematic.

I tried the Elysium again, looks like it is showing green lines while video stretched at the bottom half on 4K TV resolution. But, when set the TV resolution to 1080p, the video play nicely on SPMC.

Are you able to reproduce this http://forum.openhourlab.com/showthread....66#pid5966 ?

Ah, ok. Could you take a photo, please (snapshots probably won't work).
A bit difficult to reproduce w/o a 4K TV Wink

I get this same greenish screen when playing certain 4K files in 4K resolution (in 1080p resolution it works fine).

Not sure if it is a coincidence, but the files that show this problem are h264 24p. Other h264 files work fine.

The VPU(Video processing Unit) only supports H265 4K resolution acceleration not H264 @ 4K, only at 1080p.
Also H264 at 8 bit color not 10-bit.
That's why the color can get messed up.

But looking at the photo, the whole screen is green, which is an entirely different problem.

But why the same videos play just fine with the built-in player ? the problem is only with SMPC.

On 4K TV Resolution, Elysium is playing fine in built-in (native) player.

That is correct, but on 4K TV Resolution either KODI or SMPC play it with problems (greenish screen).
