RE: Popcorn Hour VTEN
"They've done nothing wrong" I think this isn't right because they released a product with to many problems. And announced feature there still not available for example HD-Audio.

Chris can you give us a little more background information.
For example how works the cooperation with Rockchip and Kodi (Koying), what are the plans for software developing in the future.

I don't want a timeline but it would be really nice to get more Information.

RE: Popcorn Hour VTEN
Off topic PCH Vten has nothing to do with SPMC development...

as for you question Google https://www.google.nl/webhp?sourceid=chr...p%20koying

And "too many" is what? Read the forum before you buy, next time.

Oh dear. Dummy has fallen on the floor.

Let's see what happens in the next 4 months.

Y'know, I think, I think that a week from now, you'll be less in the mood for being amusing.

RE: Popcorn Hour VTEN
I think in Future the OH will work as he should.

And I think Cloud Media will do everything to realising that because I heard that some German Reseller won't list the Popcorn Hour VTEN for the first time because of the Problems with the OH.

And yes the last last comments are very poor, but I'am waiting for month for a fully working system. And it isn't enough to say we release more updates then other manufacturer.

RE: Popcorn Hour VTEN
I for one think CM has done a good job of releasing updates on a timely basis, had I wished the box had 'baked' a little more prior to release, yep, but that is water under the bridge and now we just need to move forward. With the KODI 14.1 beta 1 release from Koying we have moved another step in the right direction as I know have DD/DTS passthrough without stuttering or white noise on most video's. I like many am waiting for Lollypop to be introduced hopefully in a couple of months, and that it will supply the needed options to make this a great player.

While they say that they never usually follow through. I have to say after reading all the comments on this thread. RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH.

The second the chameleon was announced it was an almost given on what problems it would have. Being both based on Rockchip as there was already dev rockchip boards out there, and being android based. I still dont think people are grasping the concept that all ARM based devices are more turnkey then ever before. If two products run the same chipset from same company they will suffer the same issues. Even though OH slapped there name on the box everything has to come down through rockchip except the UI.
