RE: Lubuntu - Wi-fi with openhour dongle
I wonder if its possible to just download linux drivers for the dongles chipset and get it working that way? I'm sure you can tell my linux experience is nil and you may have to compile etc.

Mk7632u is the chipset.

There's information and someone looking at wifi drivers over at Freaktab.

RE: Lubuntu - Wi-fi with openhour dongle
Seems to be a chipset thats not supported on the mediatek website.

There's some Linux info here
https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-1006508.html
Same chip in that dongle.

RE: Lubuntu - Wi-fi with openhour dongle
Have a look at Freaktab as there's Linux gurus over their with distros with working hardware acceleration on the rk3288. If you get it up and running on the OH please post back.
