RE: 23.976FPS stutter, test files, and other FPS video stutter issues
my advice... trade it in and get a VTEN

Some focus on problems and faults others on solutions and success... no question who is the happy one.

Chameleon 16GB SD 32GB micro SD <-->HDMIv1.3<-->Onkyo TX-NR1010<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Panasonic TX-P46S10 + 6 Bowers & Wilkins speakers.
10 NTFS 2TB USB drives on 3 hubs attached to a A400, 2 Seagate blackarmour NAS 3TB, 2 Seagate Central NAS 4TB.

Buy a MiniX neo x6. Don't touch Cloud media devices as the support is shocking.

Y'know, I think, I think that a week from now, you'll be less in the mood for being amusing.

nonsense, it's pretty good on the NMT's and would have been good on the OHC also if Rockchip would have come true on its commitments.

be fair on that Daveydguk.

Openhour made a financially based decision to get into bed with rockchip without any obvious due diligence on their part, the failure to support and develope the chameleon is their responsibility, and their responsibility alone

select 1080p 50 or 60 or higher if you have it as screen type

either way don't set 1080 24P

RE: 23.976FPS stutter, test files, and other FPS video stutter issues
If you don't like any stutter do NOT go with any android setup presently. That's why the Vten was suggested above as it doesn't stutter as it runs on embedded linux.

Rockchip need to fix this so there is hope, how much hope well you can see that some have none and others see a half full glass.

RE: 23.976FPS stutter, test files, and other FPS video stutter issues
Ok... i will use my HTPC for long, i was managed to return the OHC... and i was lucky to buy Another Boxee Box from my brother in law, very cheap too... here comes the smooth again! Smile
I like HTPC with Kodi... but its a living hell to calibrate from PC to TV i think... thats why i use mediaplayer as well... Idea Blush Smile
Maybe if i see a fix coming too OHC with 23,976, i will buy it again, becuase it has potential! Rolleyes

RE: 23.976FPS stutter, test files, and other FPS video stutter issues
I take it your htpc has an i3 baytrail/haswell chip any earlier and it stutters in 23.976 Big Grin

It's one of those moveable techs like autoframerate was back in early days, then reference frames, etc. etc.

They were asking for feedback and test files over at freaktab for anyone who woild rather put there effort into helping? Mind you if you're streaming livetv via kodi it's not something you'll notice.
