RE: 20141231 (1.0.10) - Open Hour Chameleon Android Firmware
I think its the fault of the parents. It's all part of this new idea that if you want something then you should have it. Many times you see people on TV and asked why they should have a job or a new car the response it always 'because I want it'. This makes them lazy and think that all they have to do is to shout to get attention and they'll get what they want.
Never has been the case and never will be in my world.

I think Willem and I will have to stop this behaviour as each and every thread gets clogged up with the same troll posts from the same 3 or 4 people. It's not making this place a pleasant place to visit when you are attacked each and every time you post.

You have my full support on this decision.

RE: 20141231 (1.0.10) - Open Hour Chameleon Android Firmware
It looks to me like CM has stopped working on Android 4.4 in favor of getting 5.0 out, and this is just fine with me if it means a more stable firmware with the basic video/audio playback working (1080P w/5.1 DD/DTS in KODI) It has to work with Kodi because the media player included with the unit has horrible interface.

just to be reasonable...
will the first release of android 5 have less issues than the first release of the Chameleon......?.... probably not
will the first SPMC build for android 5 be better than the first for RK3288......?.... probably not

Will it all improve in the end.....?...... definitely.

So hang on in there.Rolleyes

Well, I have it working reasonable well at this time, with pass thru on the video is passable and 5.1 is working (most of the time) although I still get the white noise blast once in a while. This is almost always fixed by exiting Kodi and re-launching, other than that I get the turntable audio stutter occasionally, not often enough to be a big issue, so when Lollypop and the accompanying SPMC arrives I will stay with what I have working and let all you adventuresome people work out all the bugs (or most) before I jump in.

I'm getting also the "white noise" and the internal player shows alsways the subtitles even than switched to none. Since the internal player plays 3D ISO and Kodi/SPMC not, i need a fix.
