You can actually set a custom mac address in your dts file in your resource img.

Not true lets clarify this little snippet of misinformation.

As you know a only a handful of the first production run had an issue. Think there were a grand total of three forum users affected. Thereafter the factory changed the method of attachment. Sweeping generalisations dont work!!

10 NTFS 2TB USB drives on 3 hubs attached to a A400, 2 Seagate blackarmour NAS 3TB, 2 Seagate Central NAS 4TB.

And users that have devices that gather dust and waiting for a working firmware. If Lollipop isn't a simple update and needs to set the MAC adress via OTP port i'm shure you will here again about this issue

Yep please post always up for learning and want to get into android more as there aee some nice tools out there for tne rk3288 that require skills, the overclocking tool for one.

Really nice to see others offering help rather than offering nothing but cynical posts.
