SPMC does not work for me at all, it just crashes on startup, on another note though, with this new firmware, the XBMC version you put up with the previous beta firmware is now scanning correctly... previously i could only browse the network and play video files directly, now it actually successfully creates a database and does all the scraping, etc. awesome.!!!!

The SPMC 13.3.4 beta1 crashes everytime? or just the first time?

What we've noticed so far, sometime after we installed XBMC/Kodi/SPMC and during first launch, it will have black screen for around 20 seconds, sometime more. Should be some initialization process. Not sure, this is what you're seeing?

OK word of advice for anyone who does not run xbmc backup.....

Run xbmc backup before you upgrade xbmc to kodi or change to spmc.
After installing spmc install xbmc backup and restore database, addons, subs, info etc...

How did you download the SPMC 13.3.4 beta1 ? From the built-in browser itself? or from your PC ? Are you able to double check the md5 checksum f65b1c4266a4d6cd01128f894dad09bd ?

Anybody successfully installed and run SPMC 13.3.4 beta1 downloaded from this thread please feedback.

I believe I have tried all the firmware download from here, update firmware, download SPMC from here, install and run SPMC on the new firmware, so far no problem.

OK, i installed it succesfully, my experience so far:
- Playback until 1080p (from SMB:-share) without stuttering
- Movies switch correctly to 24p, some european content to 50Hz, the GUI itself runs with 60.
- UHD content plays fine if h264 coded
- UHD content with HEVC wasn't displayed correctly, maybe my few demo pieces are broken.

But:
- sound isn't working right now. DTS brings fuzzy noise and DD5.1 a clattering noise

Installed 107 and then spcm from this site. Didn't start until second attempt after I cleared cache and forced stop.

Y'know, I think, I think that a week from now, you'll be less in the mood for being amusing.

RE: 20141119 (1.0.7) - Open Hour Chameleon Android Firmware
Hi,

Installed both updates from USB-stick (download from here)

What I have found is:
- Stereoscopic 3D rendering doesn't work : two separated images (on 3D mkv who plays fine on raspberry with XBMC)
- passthrough doesn't work (it's not a surprise, I know)
- no more stretched videos

Why? On other RK3288 systems passthrough works with a patched libmedia.so. So why doesn't popcorn supply these PT able library not to the customers?
