RE: Lubuntu running on Chameleon
The Open Hour Chameleon Lubuntu 14.04.1 - 20141031 is a plain Lubuntu setup for testing and linux enthusiast that want to try linux on Chameleon.

As mentioned on the wiki also, there are only some basic pre-installed apps such as Chromium Web Browser and Lubuntu Software Center where you can find more apps to install.

RE: Lubuntu running on Chameleon
Anyone got the Lubuntu image working?

I get "unknown partition table" errors when mounting the .img file in Linux. Also tried writing it to a SD card using dd, but that also produces the "unknown partition table" error when trying to mount the card. I have verified that my download matches the md5.

RE: Lubuntu running on Chameleon
Do you open SDK to build the lubuntu or the kernel source code?

Even just for the kernel source code, it would be very helpful. I could build a kernel module which I want to test.

RE: Lubuntu running on Chameleon
Exactly... lubutu will only become useful as a media player if the mali drivers and kernel patches are in there.
Now it's just a baseline for development.

Some focus on problems and faults others on solutions and success... no question who is the happy one.

Chameleon 16GB SD 32GB micro SD <-->HDMIv1.3<-->Onkyo TX-NR1010<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Panasonic TX-P46S10 + 6 Bowers & Wilkins speakers.

RE: Lubuntu running on Chameleon
I am also interested in getting source to the 3_10_0 kernel installed - or at least a linux-headers package for it.

I'm pretty sure that this is required to be made available by the GPLv2.

If someone from OpenHour is reading this - could you please post the code?

If you go to Freaktab forum you can find a section for RK3288 boxes. There you'll find linux setup and dual boot.
