Both Logitech K400 and K830 are using Unifying. If you want I can do the check with my K830.

Please let me know...

That would be nice! Especially interested in on which usb port of the Chameleon it is working for you - if it doesn't matter or if only the OTG port can be used to attach a K400 or so. Thanks already!

Mine is plugged into the USB port next to the power switch. It's been working great.

RE: USB Keyboards + Mice and Android
I have not had any problems with peripherals in any of the USB ports - both storage and keyboards / mice.

Any USB host port obviously.

Curious from where these ideas are coming from. The OTG port is by default a device interface you can connect to a host by using standard USB cables.

As its an OTG port, you can reconfigure it to as a fourth USB host port using a (not very common) USB micro OTG cable with a type A receptacle on the other end.

RE: USB Keyboards + Mice and Android
The Nexus mouse receiver works fine. Tried with Nexus Silent Mouse SM-5000.

The Logitech K810 (Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard) works with the Open Hour Bluetooth Dongle. For the pairing I had to turn off all other bluetooth devices. The transmission distance with this dongle & keyboard is great, it still worked almost 10 meters away, behind a wall.
