USB Keyboards + Mice and Android
Good Afternoon,

Are there any gotcha's with USB connectivity under Android, in combination with the chipset used on the Chameleon.

The only reason I am asking, is due to the other thread on the Bluetooth issues.

RE: USB Keyboards + Mice and Android
I have not seen anything on third party hardware working on RK3288 SoC but that's probably because there are few users with one at this time...

RE: USB Keyboards + Mice and Android
Most wireless keyboard/mice solution should work out of the box.

Maybe we can compile a list of device that are tested working here to assist other users.

WORKING:
Logitech K400
Lenovo Multimedia Remote N5902A

You are best having a WIKI page as you can cover wifi and bluetooth and devices working/not workring. Something like this that owners can update:

OK, you can add the KeySonic Mini Keyboard & Trackpad with RF dongle to the list of Acc that work with the OHC. I used mine to setup the unit and it made alpha/numeric entry a breeze. The model number of the one I have is ACK-540RF (UK)

RE: USB Keyboards + Mice and Android
The Logitech K750 keyboard and Anywhere MX mouse both work. They are both Unifying devices, so I expect an Logitech Unifying device will work, as long as you pair them with the dongle on a PC first.

RE: USB Keyboards + Mice and Android
The "Aerb Multifunction 2.4 G Mini Wireless Keyboard & Infrared Remote Control & 3-Gyro + 3-Gsensor" works like a charm with the OHC. Both the mouse and keyboard functions work flawlessly - as does the directional pad on the front, volume up/down, page up/down. Very happy with it.

Searching for B00K768DHY "aerb control" should work. Here is a direct link: http://www.amazon.com/Aerb-Multifunction...B00K768DHY

RE: USB Keyboards + Mice and Android
As explained by swnowkeep Unifying devices seems to be OK. I have a Logitech K830, it works well. I also made a try with a MX mouse and everything is OK.

RE: USB Keyboards + Mice and Android
Could anybody with a Logitech K400 please let me know, on which USB port you have the receiver-stick plugged in? Does it work on any of those USB ports or do you have to use the OTG port? Thanks for sharing your experience!

The Maxxter ACT-KB-BT-001 works just fine, only you have to wait 2 a 5 seconds till he is connected to bluetooth
every time he has done nothing in a long time.

Both Logitech K400 and K830 are using Unifying. If you want I can do the check with my K830.

Please let me know...
