did you try the Beta?
Use the custom Kodi and adjust the setting as advised in the release note

Some focus on problems and faults others on solutions and success... no question who is the happy one.

Chameleon 16GB SD 32GB micro SD <-->HDMIv1.3<-->Onkyo TX-NR1010<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Panasonic TX-P46S10 + 6 Bowers & Wilkins speakers.
10 NTFS 2TB USB drives on 3 hubs attached to a A400, 2 Seagate blackarmour NAS 3TB, 2 Seagate Central NAS 4TB.

RE: 20160329 (1.0.41) - Open Hour Chameleon Android Firmware
Did adjust the setting as adviced. Yet sometimes video jumps a few seconds with audio catching up the next 10-15 seconds.
Probably the custom Kodi, not the firmware itself. How is your Guys expirience with a normal v16 Kodi?

You smile - and the world changes.

Thanks for this update. Good to see you are still supporting this product.

A lot of problems have gone by updating to this version!! Very happy with it.

Only have the issue that video sometimes jumps ahead and audio is out of sync. This lasts for about 5-10 seconds and then is gone. This happenens with mkv files. Not a huge issue but would be great if you could fix that.

Hi, I just bought this machine and want to know which version to use , if 1.0.40 Beta or V 1.0.41 stable.
Which is working best for video playback and MKV 1080p HD audio.

RE: 20160329 (1.0.41) - Open Hour Chameleon Android Firmware
I Was using the TeamViewer Android Host has ever been succed for 1 minute after that its always show warning commercial use, trying to contact the support maybe its wrong commercial account detection.

I have ever try the Stock OS lubuntu 1404 and try to install the debian package for it but always says vc6 version is not supported it need 24 or more. getting frustrated with the TV support Answer try this and that no working. Maybe just need the update of lubuntu 1604 for arm7l architecture

To Mister Willem55 or other Masters,

Can i ask about increasing Internal Storage in Open Hour Android Chameleon?

I managed to install new firmware on my new SD Card 32 GB Class 10 Transcend Premium 300x. after the installation & also apply root permission I need to upgrade my internal storage from 2 GB (1,91GB) to may be 8 GB (If its Okay) Could you tell me how to do so?

Reason to increase the internal memory because cache data sometimes annoyingly big.

Currently My space statistic
Internal storage 1,91 GB
NAND Flash 25,75 GB

Thank you for support and knowledge sharingSmile

Also if you use this:
http://wiki.openhourlab.com/index.php/Bu...d_and_back
You'll see at point 1:
Quote:Notes:

- So far, there should be 2 types of Android images.

1. Android image without data partitions
We will release this type of Android image file (e.g. [burn]_open_hour_chameleon_android_[VERSIONS].img). If you burn this kind of Android image to your SD Card and boot up for the very first time, the Android OS will go into "recovery mode" to create the missing partitions while filling up all the available space of the SD Card.

2. Android image with data partitions
Mostly, this type of image is created when you "read" from the Android SD Card that went through "recovery mode" creating missing partitions before. This type of Android image will always retain its original size. For example, if you read from 8GB Android SD Card with data partitions to an image file, and write it to another 32GB SD Card, you will only able to access 8GB of storage instead of 32GB.

OHC > HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using standard Kodi(MC) 15.2 no hware/acc OK
Downmix stereo 1.0.40/RK Kodi(RKlib) 15.2 infrequent audio gaps hware/acc OK

No DTS downmix available for inbuilt eMC player

Gecko> HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using Gecko Kodi 15.0 OK
Downmix using inbuilt MediaCentre OK

If the PLEX android playback client doesn't knows how to use it.... it fails.
As for now only the internal playback engine and customized Kodi know how to do that.
