Question File Operations
Is there a way to move, copy, and delete files through the Gecko?

File Explorer doesn't have any obvious commands to do so.

I could do these basic file operations with my C-200, but now with the Gecko, I'm currently plugging the external drive to a computer to perform them since the Gecko doesn't appear to share any external drives on the network (again, unlike my C-200).

RE: File Operations
You can do this within Kodi via Settings > File Manager. You can add shares and Usb HDD via Add Sources and use this to shortcut.

You should install esfilexplorer via Google Play which you should use instead of the native one on android devices.

OHC > HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using standard Kodi(MC) 15.2 no hware/acc OK
Downmix stereo 1.0.40/RK Kodi(RKlib) 15.2 infrequent audio gaps hware/acc OK

No DTS downmix available for inbuilt eMC player

Gecko> HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using Gecko Kodi 15.0 OK
Downmix using inbuilt MediaCentre OK

RE: File Operations
Weird that Kodi, a third party app would offer this basic functionality.

I tried esfileexplorer and it's a bit clumsy to use with a remote, and not very intuitive. So I'll stick to Kodi as it offers all that I need, with a much nicer and easier to understand interface.

RE: File Operations
That's Android it's a little bit weird.

I too use Kodi's File Manager though as its more familiar in its ui and use as its more like working in a set top box than working on an Android OS.
