Exclamation BUG: Doesn't recognize Gecko 3D hardware
I'm beginning to explore the different video launchers on my Gecko and I discovered that Kodi does not recognize the Gecko as having 3D capabilities, so it either defaults to the 2D version if available or displays an error then brings you back to the video pick screen.

The Gecko's standard MediaCenter plays 3D videos just fine on the Gecko.

RE: BUG: Doesn't recognize Gecko 3D hardware
I cannot get Kodi to launch and play using the hiplayer native player from the chip unless I use mountpoints. Have you tried mountpoints and have you looked into Kodi as its cannot do full 3D presently only certain types.

Mountpoints are added in Kodi via Add Srouce > NativeRootfilesystem > mnt > SMB > mountpoint

OHC > HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using standard Kodi(MC) 15.2 no hware/acc OK
Downmix stereo 1.0.40/RK Kodi(RKlib) 15.2 infrequent audio gaps hware/acc OK

No DTS downmix available for inbuilt eMC player

Gecko> HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using Gecko Kodi 15.0 OK
Downmix using inbuilt MediaCentre OK
