RE: OHC--------HDMI--------TV
Try these with 1.0.33 RK Kodi:
http://forum.openhourlab.com/showthread....05#pid7905

Make sure you read post one in the beta thread as it involves new SDK and requires a total reset.

I also have a second SD card that has standard Kodi 15.2 with Media codec only for hardware acceleration that I find gives me less audio issues.

Remember your firmware and APPS are on the SD card only so you can swop about and try differing setups without having to start from scratch.

You are suing downmix if you have no AVR ( a/v receiver) and the settings above are good for everything bar Hardware etc.

OHC > HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using standard Kodi(MC) 15.2 no hware/acc OK
Downmix stereo 1.0.40/RK Kodi(RKlib) 15.2 infrequent audio gaps hware/acc OK

No DTS downmix available for inbuilt eMC player

Gecko> HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using Gecko Kodi 15.0 OK
Downmix using inbuilt MediaCentre OK

RE: OHC--------HDMI--------TV
If you have firmware 1.0.33 you must run this version of Kodi:
http://files.syabas.com/openhour/android...-10-23.apk
Settings as per links in earlier post.

If you run earlier firmwares then I use Kodi15.2 from here:
http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/android/...bi-v7a.apk

Only running earlier firmwares can I get playback using downmix without any audio gaps.

So I have two SD cards. One for day to day running the no audio gap setup and one for testing new firmwares testing 1.0.33 with RK Kodi and audio gaps.

OHC > HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using standard Kodi(MC) 15.2 no hware/acc OK
Downmix stereo 1.0.40/RK Kodi(RKlib) 15.2 infrequent audio gaps hware/acc OK

No DTS downmix available for inbuilt eMC player

Gecko> HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using Gecko Kodi 15.0 OK
Downmix using inbuilt MediaCentre OK

I only have a sd card and use only the TV without AVR. which one should I install 1.0.27 or 1033 for less stuttering audio video. 1.0.27 using what are the best settings for watching DVD iso and 1080p mkv?

Thank you very much

RE: OHC--------HDMI--------TV
I wouldn't know as apart frm saying you are on 1.0.27 with Kodi 15.2 and Mediacodec enabled I know little else about your settings, network, etc. don't know?

Depends on all of your settings, what the files are, where are they played from, player settings, etc.

All I can do is to tell you my experience and how after many firmwares with downmix audio ddddisco effect or gaps I finally got it working.

Happy to go into more detail on my setup, my network setup (use static ip), etc. but need a starting palce from you. Did you check the post with the 1.0.33 settings I linked to elsewhere as you can use those apart from removing the RKLIb and 23.976fps settings.

Try with both autoframerate turned on and OFF and remember both the android settings and Kodi settings need to be changed each time.

OHC > HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using standard Kodi(MC) 15.2 no hware/acc OK
Downmix stereo 1.0.40/RK Kodi(RKlib) 15.2 infrequent audio gaps hware/acc OK

No DTS downmix available for inbuilt eMC player

Gecko> HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using Gecko Kodi 15.0 OK
Downmix using inbuilt MediaCentre OK

RE: OHC--------HDMI--------TV
Looks to me like you are using a receiver according to the settings? You said that you were direct to the TV.

Also you do not seem to have autoframerate setup? So if you play a 24fps video at 50Hz or 60Hz you'll get stuttering.

Try this :
http://i63.tinypic.com/qyzfv6.jpg
To Adjust Display Rate - Start/Stop
Set delay to 0.60secs
Change Sync Playback to display to OFF.
Change Passthough to OFF.

OHC > HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using standard Kodi(MC) 15.2 no hware/acc OK
Downmix stereo 1.0.40/RK Kodi(RKlib) 15.2 infrequent audio gaps hware/acc OK

No DTS downmix available for inbuilt eMC player

Gecko> HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using Gecko Kodi 15.0 OK
Downmix using inbuilt MediaCentre OK
