RE: Help required on open-hour chameleon
Get a bigger SD card. You can safely go to a 32Gb card rather than the two 4 Gb ones you are using.

Alternatively you could get a USB HDD and connect that.

In terms of APPS use a cleaner app to remove unnecessary files:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...aner&hl=en

You can use the Kodi backup addon to save your config to a location anywhere on your card or LAN. That way if you go frm a version that loses your settings etc. you can restore from your backup:
http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Backup

OHC > HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using standard Kodi(MC) 15.2 no hware/acc OK
Downmix stereo 1.0.40/RK Kodi(RKlib) 15.2 infrequent audio gaps hware/acc OK

No DTS downmix available for inbuilt eMC player

Gecko> HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using Gecko Kodi 15.0 OK
Downmix using inbuilt MediaCentre OK

RE: Help required on open-hour chameleon
A sensible solution is to store your Music/Movie content on a USB harddrive and only use the internal SD's for applications and data....That is the design for any android device....
Now the majority of user don't need more than 8GB for apps and data... but the heavy gamers or the ones with big music/movie collection on their home network could use a bigger SD.
32GB is the safe limit.

Some focus on problems and faults others on solutions and success... no question who is the happy one.

Chameleon 16GB SD 32GB micro SD <-->HDMIv1.3<-->Onkyo TX-NR1010<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Panasonic TX-P46S10 + 6 Bowers & Wilkins speakers.
10 NTFS 2TB USB drives on 3 hubs attached to a A400, 2 Seagate blackarmour NAS 3TB, 2 Seagate Central NAS 4TB.

RE: Help required on open-hour chameleon
Just like an SSD in a PC, you don't use it to store movies and other multi media on it. The same applies to a SD card.

Another tip and this one is free, don't be rude to people trying to help you.

RE: Help required on open-hour chameleon
Make sure you get powered usb hd and don't rely on OHC usb power. Also make sure you disconnect usb device in settings or task bar before switching off OHC.

Y'know, I think, I think that a week from now, you'll be less in the mood for being amusing.

RE: Help required on open-hour chameleon
I'll assume things got lost in translation and that you didn't mean to be rude.

Good advice if you do go with the earlier suggestions of using a USB HDD then make sure you go for one with external power.

OHC > HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using standard Kodi(MC) 15.2 no hware/acc OK
Downmix stereo 1.0.40/RK Kodi(RKlib) 15.2 infrequent audio gaps hware/acc OK

No DTS downmix available for inbuilt eMC player

Gecko> HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using Gecko Kodi 15.0 OK
Downmix using inbuilt MediaCentre OK
