Audio Issues
Hey everyone. My PCH A-210 gave up on me and i was looking to buy the Chameleon. I read about the audio problems and stuttering but don't understand much as i am not tech savvy.
I mainly watch my TV Shows which are x264 mp4 and sometimes 720p mkv that i stream from my home server and NAS.

Will i have any audio problems with those type of files?

And another question. Is there an official cloud media store that ships from European Union? Shipping charges, VAT and import taxes are killing me otherwise.

Thanks

RE: Audio Issues
Would still advise you to get a VTEN PCH.

Some focus on problems and faults others on solutions and success... no question who is the happy one.

Chameleon 16GB SD 32GB micro SD <-->HDMIv1.3<-->Onkyo TX-NR1010<-->HDMIv1.3<-->Panasonic TX-P46S10 + 6 Bowers & Wilkins speakers.

RE: Audio Issues
Willem55 i checked VTEN. Problem is that i also need online streaming capabilities as i want to cancel my dreambox subscription and use xbmc addons for the football games. Sorry i should have mentioned this.
VTEN doesn't have this capability right?

RE: Audio Issues
I'm using Kodi15.1 with HDMI direct to TV with only stereo requirements. Watch my daily TV downloads and stream NFL preseason etc. without issues. Sharing on my LAN from a NAS and USBHDD connected to another media player.

Problems are for those using passthrough.

OHC > HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using standard Kodi(MC) 15.2 no hware/acc OK
Downmix stereo 1.0.40/RK Kodi(RKlib) 15.2 infrequent audio gaps hware/acc OK

No DTS downmix available for inbuilt eMC player

Gecko> HDMI > TV (Panasonic 42G20)
Downmix stereo using Gecko Kodi 15.0 OK
Downmix using inbuilt MediaCentre OK

RE: Audio Issues
Thanks @chris57. I think we have identical setup so i guess Chameleon is suitable for me. Any idea if cloudmedia has a European Union based online store? I hate to pay twice the price for shipping, vat and import taxes.

I would advise mini PC. Intel Z3537F. 4k isn't mature enough in products yet.

You get free upgrade to Windows 10. It plays like a dream.

If you want DTS-HD or other HD formats then look for Intel NUC which supports.

Forget Android and price wise they are cheaper than open hour.

Watch out for cheap Intel skylake chip products coming soon.

Y'know, I think, I think that a week from now, you'll be less in the mood for being amusing.
