Hi All,

That's all the news we can share at the moment.

And all the fixes will be rolled into the new build of andriod Wink

I think that is the beauty of the device and the OS on an sdcard. I can keep my stable version nice and safe, and just test the Beta/Work in Progress of the Openhour Chameleon running Lollipop.

This is the forum for owners to post to help one another. It is not OH support or customer service that's on their website. That is why we suggest that after discussion and confirmation users report issues to the OH support at times. It's also why you'll see Willem and I suggest that owners approach OH and not post questions to OH on the forum. You won't see a lot of posting or involvement in the forum from OH.

As we all know they are only days away from a PCH product launch and so they are very busy presently on that I expect. Remember we are not talking Sony here we are talking a small player in the electronics market.

I read on Freaktab that Rockchip are hoping to release lollipop pre Chinese New Year. Everything stops for two weeks for Chinese New Year each and every year by the way.

So getting back onto lollipop as soon as OH get it then they will release it.

Two words. Customer relations.

Just another vehicle to know your customer.

Thats why i bought a Mini-PC, i gone build one from parts i just bought.

I am sick of Promises and more empty promises, they (Android Box Makers) are all the same, saying they
gone fix stuff and months and months later still everything is not fixed.

I thought i had learned from MeLE, but i thought one more time with Cloud Media with a Android TV BOX, and
again the product (Open Hour Chameleon) is not 100% ready when it came out, only 60 a 70% done, so WE
again are the BETA testers and have to help them to fix all the problems there product have because it
was not ready to go onto the marked.

Early days. Chris. Dutch.

Willem and Chris. If you have the bent ear. Talk

A forum for the product set up by the manufacturer and not subject to cloud media leaving it upto you seems a world apart

One thing i can tell, that there is nothing better then a PC, before i used Android TV BOXES i
used my PC for everything, and i have NEVER problems with Movies or TV Shows and also
never heave problems with audio HD any audio format, everything played like it shut be.

But i wanted a Android TV BOX because my computer uses 135W when i play 1080P DTS MKV
movies, and a Android TV BOX only use about 5W.

But Android TV BOXES are not ready yet, i think it's gone take years till they are really ready
to play movies and more.

And thats why i bought a Mini-ITX PC that only uses about 20 a 30W when i play a Movie, also
a lot less then 135W :-)
