It only fixed the BDISO subtitle out of sync in Rockchip Native Player issue

How should I know? I just don't bother playing HD music on android as I believed it's downscaled to plain CD quality.
So I just wondered why you play them.
Will test some tomorrow to see what they do.

Playback of 24Bit FLAC audio is way to slow using the FLAC playback engine from the Openhour provided Rockchip custom Kodi.
Previous version has been reported as playing the correct audio timing and internal and thirdparty audio players also don't have this problem.
Please ask RockChip if they can fix this... in their custom Kodi

Hi

Thanks for the update !

What about adding the rockchip customizations to the latest 16.xx Kodi release ?

By the way, since the last beta, the playback is almost perfect. I tried with various encoding's it just work's, I didn't actually have one that failed in some way. I guess there will -at some time- but I can accept that when it's that way around Smile

Just by curiousity what was actually what has changed since the previous beta version ? a new driver within android ? I mean it's like day and night, we went from an almost unusable device to something that works very well (except very few UI bugs, but I guess it's related to this unstable release of Kodi...).

It's just a shame that we had to wait 1 year for this :/ but ok that's behind now

RE: 20160329 (1.0.41) - Open Hour Chameleon Android Firmware - afss - 04-27-2016 01:54 PM

I started getting random OHC freezes (in multiple places like inside Kodi, while changing video settings, inside Native Player). Tried a clean SD card re-install of 1.0.41 but did not resolve it - Rolled back to 1.0.40 (also with a clean re-install) and the problem is gone.

Anybody else experienced this ?
